CTFOB and Partners at Land of Nod Sunday, April 17th!

We are SO EXCITED about our upcoming event with Land of Nod at 900 North Ave, Chicago IL on April 17th at 4:00pm! We will be celebrating all things “Changing the Face of Beauty” including our 21 amazing partners! This event is in honor of their commitment to including beauty of all types in their advertising message as well as supporting our growth!

We will have 23 kids of ALL abilities rocking the runway that Sunday afternoon! They will be wearing designs from our partners as well as Changing the Face of Beauty! Better yet, YOU can stop in and MEET some of the companies that afternoon! We are proud to announce that 10 of our amazing partners will be there at the event with products for purchase!

Changing the Face of Beauty’s mission is to show the world, as well as retailers, what it looks like when all kids of all abilities are seen together. When they have the chance to BE together. This event will be no different! We promise you will leave with a better understanding of what all children really want, to be seen, to be valued and to be communicated too. Something our partners strive for every day.

So come one come all! There will be great activities for kids, a red carpet photo opportunity for all in attendance, shopping for Moms and Dads as well as a great little fashion event!

If you are interested in supporting CTFOB and our efforts to grow this message and complete some of our projects YOU can donate here. Every little bit helps as we have big dreams for big changes in this industry. Don’t have money to spare?  Write a letter to our partners thanking them for being the change we all so desperately want. Shop their products and let them know their commitment matters to you. Consider talking about the importance of all kids being included in all events, birthday parties and social outings within your own family and school. We can’t do this alone and your participation is extremely valuable.

Advertising messages are modeled around what matters to the people they are communicating with. If retailers know that inclusion of the largest minority in the world matters to you, it will matter to them too.  So speak up, write letters and educate your children. Together we can and will be the change of the future.
